We have developed an area of ancient alder woodlands surrounding Gate Street Farm to an enchanting area for Blessings and celebrant led Ceremonies.

(Download the app here for exact locations)

Along the track after the Main Car park turn right at  washed.crown.scans, follow the path to a grass parking area and head into the woods
( saves.eating.grew ) to the peaceful clearing where our Noah’s Ark folly sits beneath the tree canopy surrounded by wooden benches for guests ( bubble.record.degree ).

The structure was built many years ago by Nick and Jane’s sons as a summer project and we have had so much fun rediscovering it and creating the magical glade for Woodland Weddings.

Choosing a Woodland Wedding means you have the freedom to create a completely personal ceremony and a unique setting!

The space is  DIY so you have total flexibility to use it however you would like!  You may decide to bring  in more furniture and props or add to the woodlands with  ferns and floristry.

You can make the space wild and natural, go with a festival bohemian style or just the popular rustic feel. Be inspired by the space and the season of your wedding!

The natural light and greenery mean the area is already beautiful. With a traditional venue you can spend a lot of effort to bring the natural world indoors, with a woodland it is already all there!

There are so many backdrops for your photos and the woods will change throughout the year. The  bluebells are STUNNING  in late Spring and  Autumn brings many rich colours.  We’ve all been swooning over woodland wedding photos on Instagram and Pinterest and now our woods are just as gorgeous!

We can’t wait to see what unique shots our photographers and couples capture.
